the people behind the bar
Ian and Cath
A Holsworthy pub, run by a Holsworthy family.
Reopened March 2024 — refurbished, refreshed, and still improving. Ian and Cath put their own stamp on the place without losing what makes it feel like home.
Ian and Cath reopened The Olde Market Inn together in March 2024, with their families behind them. A cooked-to-order kitchen, a handful of rotating casks, and three rooms above the pub.
A short walk from Holsworthy's Wednesday market, a short drive from Bude and the north Cornwall coast. Ian and Cath have painted, polished and put their own stamp on the place, and the story is a simple one: good ale, proper food, a bed for the night.
